Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, the former UFC light heavyweight champion and PRIDE star, will apparently get his wish to fight in The Land of the Rising Sun.
ESPN is reporting Jackson has agreed to meet Jackson's request (made after his loss to Jon Jones at UFC 135) to fight in Japan (the original request was to face Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua):
The UFC has granted Quinton Jackson's request to fight in Japan in February.
The former light heavyweight champion will meet Ryan Bader at UFC 144. UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta confirmed the matchup to ESPN.com.
The UFC has not formally announced this bout.
UFC 144 takes place February 26th at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
