For the straight second week ratings for Spike TV's 'The Ultimate Fighter 14' were on the rise. Led by a budding rivalry between Jason "Mayhem" Miller and Michael Bisping, early figures indicate the fifth episode climbed to 1.6 million viewers, matching the season high set in week two. As has been the case for most of the season, the numbers eclipsed viewership for last season's correlating episode, which only garnered an audience of 1.5 million.
In total, Wednesday's episode drew a 1.2 household rating, a 1.6 in males age 18-49, and a 1.9 in males age 18-34. 'The Ultimate Fighter 14' ranked third in those two key demographics for the night, coming in behind Comedy Central's South Park/Nick Swardson pairing and FX's American Horror Story.
